OUR HISTORY
 

Northern Therapy Services was founded in 2017 to address the need for consistent and culturally specific rehabilitative services primarily to the communities of Northern BC. Out therapy team has called Northern British Columbia home and have been providing service to the region since 2011 and are passionate about reaching rural and remote communities with an outreach model. Northern Therapy Services specializes in providing culturally relevant care in Indigenous communities and believes in a comprehensive community approach when providing service. As such, we offer both in-person and virtual telehealth services to meet the individual needs of each community. Our multi-disciplinary team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech & Language Pathologists, a Registered Psychologist, an Accessibility Consultant and Rehabilitative Assistants provide services to children, adults and elders throughout Northern British Columbia and Vancouver Island. We are proud to be a Northern British Columbia owned and operated company that strives to increase health outcomes in our region and hire within our local communities.

Our occupational therapist team works with adults of all ages in their homes and communities. Our team focuses on improving functional skills needed for clients to complete activities of daily living to meet their specific goals.


Occupational Therapists can assist in the following areas:
